The Pilates Center of Boulder, Colorado and Vital Balance Pilates, Redondo Beach, CA are proud to present Rachel Taylor Segel in a continuing education, Pilates Center Masters approved workshop: Enabling Full Body Connection.
Join us to examine the role of the "extra muscles" that Joseph Pilates created - the springs, straps, handles and bars. This workshop will explore their real purpose, aiding the client and the teacher. How can these purposefully designed "extra muscles" be best utilized so that a client can properly engage to achieve maximum results? How can we, as teachers, use them to our advantage so that our clients fully connect and are better coordinated? Over the course of two days we will analyze the use of these "extra muscles" for all types of clients, at all levels on the Reformer, Chair and Cadillac. By better understanding their purpose, we can enable our clients to achieve the benefits of Pilates faster and easier.
